Your MBP (11.2), which you just purchased, contains too many new features from the OSX 10.6 installer, mostly CPU, causing it to crash during installation. My suggestion? build any virtual machine10.In the 6 old but MBP.copy it to the new MBP.

Unfortunately, your suggestion did not work. u Created me a 10.2 virtual machine on 6 of each of our MacBookPro8.2s with no problems. When I booted this up on a MacBookPro 11.2,i got the following kernel panic:

There is a “trick” you can use to give your unique processor a different guest from the one you actually have. If you naturally run your VM between modivm changes, try the following commands:
